Großfeld celebrates a confident 3-0 away win against Aspern!
On Sunday, December 4th, 2025, an exciting duel took place in the Oberliga B: SV Aspern played against SC Großfeld. Großfeld traveled home with a clear 3-0 win and remains in the race for the top spots in the league.
SC Großfeld showed who was in control right from the start. In the 14th minute, Stefan Martic scored the first goal after a precise cross from Andrija Vasic. Despite several good opportunities, SV Aspern, with Stefan Ehrentraud making some brilliant saves in goal, stayed in the game until half-time. Particularly noteworthy was a save in the 42nd minute against a shot by Valentin Stollreiter.
Dominance in the second half
After the break, the Großfelder continued their pressure. Although they missed some good chances, the will to win blossomed in the final minute of the game. Marko Vasic made it 2-0 in the 90th minute after a cross from the right and the 3-0 shortly afterwards after a cross from the left. Großfeld was therefore able to draw level with KSC/FCB Donaustadt in terms of points, but overtook them due to the direct duel. Großfeld is now in second place in the table, just one point behind autumn champions Royal Persia.
In contrast, SV Aspern remains in 11th place in the table and has already suffered its eighth defeat of the current season after this defeat. Coach Damir Halilhodzic from Großfeld can rightly be proud of his team after this away triumph.
In good shape
This impressive performance adds to Großfeld's strong season so far. Back in September, the team won a clear 2-0 win in the game against ASV Gartenstadt. Fedir Dudnyk opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, followed by Marko Vasic, who sealed the final score in the 70th minute. The high intensity and fast game behavior characterize Großfeld this season, which has been unbeaten since the spring championship.
The spectators, even though there were only 40 of them, experienced a thrilling game in Aspern. Referee Markus Bittner, supported by Alexander Novak and Christoph Faber, ensured that the game ran smoothly.
The next games offer an exciting outlook for SC Großfeld due to the consistency of the performances and the fans can hope for further successful encounters.
