Book presentation: Experience cultural urban development in Vienna!
On October 23, 2025, there will be an exciting event at Aktionsradius Vienna, Gaußplatz 11: the book presentation of "IM RADIUS - Pioneer Projects in Cultural Urban Development Vienna | 1988-2025". The event starts at 7:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. The editor Uschi Schreiber will host the evening together with Ania Gleich and Suzie Wong. There will be special musical accompaniment from the trio Carl Majneri, Christoph Michalke, Jürgen Mitterlehner and Bernie Magenbauer, who will provide the appropriate musical setting.
The book, published by Promedia Verlag, looks at the cultural urban development in Vienna and highlights projects that have been launched since 1988. The price of the book is €37 and you can register for the event at office@aktionsradius.at. The event will also be recorded on film and a live stream will be available at www.aktionsradius.at/content/de/medien/livestream be available.
About the book
“IM RADIUS” addresses central aspects such as art, interdisciplinarity, participation, public spaces, culture of remembrance and discourse. It contains numerous contributions from various authors as well as photographs that document cultural developments in Vienna.
