With the new constellation in the town hall, the business group division in the magistrate has also revised. From now on, various departments are clearly distributed in order to be able to meet the specific challenges of the city efficiently. The innovations that are valid from today are the result of comprehensive coalition negotiations and a clear commitment to the necessary cooperation within the city government.

A look at the new business groups shows that the city government has handed over the topics of education, integration and markets to the Neos. Bettina Emmerling will therefore be responsible for educational and integration policy. The tasks are supported by the respective departments of the magistrate, including MA 10 (kindergartens) and MA 11 (child and youth welfare).

The SPÖ has also made changes in its ranks: Barbara Novak takes over the department for finance, business, work, international and digital. Mayor Ludwig emphasizes the importance of cooperation and plans that the club chairmanship in the club accommodation is also decided, whereby he wants to continue Josef Taucher as club chairman.

With all of these changes, Vienna shows that it is willing to proactively address the challenges of the future.
