In his play “Medeia,” written in 431 B.C. was performed, similar themes of jealousy, revenge and moral dilemmas can be found. Medea's actions - from the dismemberment of Pelias to the deaths of Glaukes and Creon - make the tragedy surrounding her character so compelling.
