Construction starts for Parkside Green Residences: New living in Währing!

In Vienna-Währing, a new chapter in sustainable living is being opened with the new “Parkside Green Residences” project. The construction site is located at Mollgasse 15 and Anastasius-Grün-Gasse 26, not far from the idyllic Währinger Park, which, with its 4.8 hectares, offers a green oasis in the city. The project sponsor is HPR Bauträger GmbH, which belongs to the Hübl & Partner Group. The first investments are in full swing and expectations are high.

The building will have a total of six floors, consisting of two staircases. There will be 48 apartments of different sizes - from cozy two-room apartments to spacious five-room penthouse apartments. The apartment sizes range from 50 to 144 square meters. Prices range from 415,000 euros for the smallest unit to 1,399,000 euros for the representative attic apartment. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2027.

Sustainability in focus

As Leadersnet reports, the project also relies on innovative sustainability elements. The energy is supplied via a geothermal heat pump in combination with a photovoltaic system. This technical equipment should not only be environmentally friendly, but also save residents costs in the long term. The apartments also offer modern furnishings with smart home features and triple-glazed windows that ensure optimal noise protection.

The choice of materials and technology should not only make ecological sense, but also increase the quality of life of future residents. Radio-controlled electric external shading as well as security doors and colored video intercom systems offer additional comfort and security.

Connection and infrastructure

Another plus point is the excellent connection to public transport. The subway can be reached in a few minutes, and the AKH can also be reached by bike in around 5 minutes. Buses run regularly and take residents to Schottentor in around 20 minutes. There are also grocery stores and educational institutions such as WIFI Vienna and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) nearby, making the location very attractive for young families and professionals.

The “Parkside Green Residences” project is one of a number of sustainable residential projects that are becoming the norm in Vienna. More and more builders and developers are placing emphasis on ecological, social and economic aspects of construction. According to information from Huebl & Partner, the city of Vienna is also intensively concerned with sustainable building concepts and actively promotes them. With the vision of achieving a 100% renewable energy supply by 2050 and drastically reducing CO2 emissions, Vienna is taking a further step towards environmentally conscious living.

For anyone looking for a new home in one of the most livable cities in the world, this project offers a unique opportunity that is not only well thought out but also forward-looking. Whether as an investment or for private living, the “Parkside Green Residences” have the potential to offer a high level of living comfort in harmony with nature – an all-round successful combination.
