On November 9th, 2025, the fans of SC Großengersdorf were able to celebrate: In an exciting duel in the 2nd class Marchfeld, their team defeated SC Breitensee 1-0. Coach Walter Kratochwille saw his team score the decisive goal in stoppage time after a tough fight - a moment that would shape the entire encounter. Patrick Pöschl became the hero of the day when he scored the much celebrated goal in the last minute and thus secured the narrow victory.
Although the match remained open until shortly before the end, the spectators struggled with the somewhat defensive style of play of the guests from Breitensee. They relied on transition moments, while Großengersdorf had more possession of the ball and was able to constantly build up pressure. In the first half, however, the goal difference remained 0-0 - the visitors' defense was stable. In the second half, Großengersdorf increased the pressure and also had a few notable chances, including a powerful long-range shot that forced the opposing goalkeeper to make a save.

A key moment of the game was the yellow-red card for Manuel Pata von Breitensee in the 89th minute. Despite numerous attempts and a unified team performance from the hosts, Großengersdorf was unable to take the lead earlier.
