There's a lot going on in Hernals: the future of the postal sports club is hanging in the balance. With over 1,000 children and young people in twelve sections, including 23 football teams, the club looks back on a long history of success. Section leader Josef Putz urgently points out that the impending end of postal sports history not only affects the athletes, but also the community. Chairman Felix Weigel warns: “Without an extension we are seriously at risk.” This has also been brought to the forefront by the Hernals People's Party, which appeals to City Councilor for Sports Peter Hacker (SPÖ) to preserve the sports facility.
