Rapp takes stock and quickly recognizes the team's problems. The initial phases against opponents Donau and Oberwart were particularly promising, but then came the early deficits that threw the team off course. “We have to work on tactical discipline,” says Rapp. Confusion rather than tactics seems to be a central theme - the concept of the game requires more attention than the fancy tiki-taka or the possession game.

Rapp has set himself ambitious goals, even if they seem unrealistic at the moment. Before the start of the season he had set the championship title as his goal - but now the focus is clear: collect points and get out of the bottom third of the table. In a highly competitive environment, he must create a sustainable foundation for the future of the Vienna sports club.
