The 1st Vienna Table Tennis Cup took place in the Floridsdorf table tennis hall on January 22nd, 2026. Organized by the club Table tennis hobby Vienna, the event enjoyed record participation with over 64 registrations. Even though a flu epidemic prevented some players from taking part in the tournament, the mood among those in attendance was exuberant and enthusiastic.
Parallel to the exciting matches, eight table tennis tables were played. The final was particularly memorable: Mr. Krammer M. prevailed against Mr. Urban W. and secured the coveted title. Many participants stayed after their elimination to watch the exciting final. Organizer Michael Mader noted that everyone present was united by the joy of the competition.
