New residential project on the Old Danube: 13 exclusive condominiums!
The foundation stone for a new residential building project at Arminenstrasse 4A–8 will be laid in Vienna-Donaustadt today, November 4, 2025. Construction work on the residential project, which includes a total of 13 apartments, has officially begun. The Leadersnet reports that the apartments range in size from 56 to 160 square meters and both two- and five-room apartments are available. This makes the project particularly attractive for various housing needs, whether for singles, couples or families.
The purchase prices are staggered according to the size of the apartment and range between 599,900 and 1,849,900 euros. A real investment opportunity for anyone looking for a place in this sought after area. Each apartment comes with its own private open space, be it a balcony, a terrace or a private garden, which invite you to relax and enjoy.
Sustainability and infrastructure
The sustainable construction of the project is particularly noteworthy. Equipped with a heat pump, a photovoltaic system and energy-efficient ceiling cooling, the building should also be environmentally friendly in the future. An underground car park and cellar compartments are planned for all units, which promises both comfort and practical storage space. In addition, the location of the project is very advantageous: just 200 meters from the lower Old Danube, the future residents will not only enjoy a natural environment, but also excellent connections to public transport. The subway lines U1 and U2 as well as numerous tram and bus connections are in the immediate vicinity.
The residential project is scheduled to be completed in 2026. As expected, there will be great interest among the population as the Donaustadt district is becoming increasingly popular, not least because of its green areas and good infrastructural connections.
With this new residential building project, the city of Vienna is once again setting an example for modern and sustainable living. The combination of well-thought-out housing solutions and comprehensive infrastructure could make the new project the new hotspot for those interested in living in this dynamic city.
