Esslingen celebrates Schwörtag: Tradition meets future visions!

Mayor Matthias Klopfer opened the event and underlined the importance of this tradition for open cooperation. The Schwörtag, whose roots go back to the 14th century, enjoyed lively participation this year. He not only stands for civic engagement, but also promotes the local political participation. The mayor and the municipal council have been signed in the pregnancy ceremony, which was carried out in a contemporary manner. The city community was also invited to actively participate in the action and show solidarity. The ceremony took place in the new Blarer on Blarerplatz and offered a varied program that began singing together with a common singing: inside from Esslingen primary schools.
