Vienna Ball Season 2026: A celebration of elegance and tradition!
The 2026 Vienna ball season is in full swing and promises one event after another! With over 300 ball nights in our beautiful capital, what it means to live in Vienna becomes tangible - celebrating, dancing and enjoying the traditional atmosphere. The start of this festive season is not only exciting, but also full of historical rituals that will make every ball fan's heart beat faster. The entry of the debutants, the famous cry “Everything is a waltz!” and the rousing midnight quadrille create an incomparable atmosphere on the dance floors, while the right clothes have to ensure elegance: tailcoats, evening dresses or thematically appropriate outfits are a must! Dance schools now also offer waltz training - no wonder, because for many people the following applies: practice makes perfect.
A highlight of the season is this Vienna Opera Ball, which will take place on February 12, 2026 at the State Opera. But the remaining balls in January should not be overlooked either:
