Revolutionary health care: Mia Center in Liesing sets standards!

Fröhlichgasse 42, 1230 Wien, Österreich - porr builds a new health center in Liesing

The healthcare system in Liesing gets a strong thrust, because Porr Plans the construction of the "Mia Health Center Liesing" at Fröhlichgasse 42, not far from the Liesing train station. According to Meinzärzirk this is the largest privately financed health center throughout Austria, which is realized with an impressive construction volume of around 50 million euros. The construction work is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2023 and the completion of the building is planned within about three years.

With a total area of 11,800 square meters, the new center will offer up to 5,000 people every day. The planning provides for a primary care center with specialists from the health insurance area. The project is supported by MZLH Beteiligungs GmbH and Hospitals GmbH of PORR, which will take care of strategic project development, marketing and sales.

What can the Liesinger expect?

The "Mia Health Center" will not only accommodate doctors and medical providers, but also to settle banks and insurance companies on campus. In conversation with district manager Gerald Bischof (SPÖ), the leading role of the project for health care in Liesing becomes clear. "The project will significantly improve the medical care of our 110,000 inhabitants in the 23rd district and neighboring communities in Lower Austria," said Bischof.

In addition, the WGZ23, a comprehensive health concept for Liesing, will offer reliable medical care with long opening hours. Among other things, a Primary Health Care Center, a tooth ambulatorium and various laboratory diagnoses are planned. The area of orthopedics is also covered, which is particularly important for patients who need special treatments.

In this center, medical services are taken over by the health insurance company, which makes the offer more accessible to many citizens. "With the new health center, an important contribution to primary care in the region is also made," adds Bischof.

Environmentally friendly design included

The new health center not only relies on medical care, but also on sustainable construction. The building is equipped with green facades and certified as climate-neutral, which is supported by the use of geothermal energy for heat and climate supply. In addition, parts of the roof surfaces can be designed as roof gardens that will offer the residents an additional recreational area.

With the MIA Health Center and the WGZ23, important steps are taken to make health care in Liesing future -oriented and sustainable. It remains exciting to observe how the project develops and what other advantages it will bring for the population. The region can look forward to high -quality access to медицинic services if the center opens its doors.
