The summer highlight on Vienna's Danube Island is just around the corner! The 42nd edition of the Danube Island Festival starts on Friday and attracts visitors with a loud music festival until Sunday. Admission is traditionally free, which makes the festival a magnet for young and old. However, if you want to travel by bike or e-scooter, you have to be prepared that these are not allowed on the festival grounds.
