Brigittenau celebrates entrepreneurs: The winners of the 2025 district awards!

The ceremonial handover of the district business awards recently took place in the heart of Brigittenau. The district leader Christine Dubravac-Widholm praised the warm, down-to-earth and humorous soul of the 20th district and emphasized the pride in the many entrepreneurs who promote local development with their commitment. “There is something there,” remarked Dubravac-Widholm, making it clear how important the economy is to the sense of community.

The award ceremony included various categories, including: District Medical Awards were awarded three times to health care facilities in Brigittenau. They went to the Brigittenau Diagnostic Center, the Brigittenau Veterinary Clinic and the Brigittenau Homes for Life, where seven representatives gathered on stage.

Particularly noteworthy is Manuela Schwarz from MS Installationen, who won the award in the small business category. She emphasized how important personal contact with her customers is. In the medium-sized businesses category, Christian Klement from the MAGMAG Group received the award for organizing Vienna Christmas villages and the Vienna Opera Summer. Matthias Franta from MILLENNIUM City, which attracts over 14 million visitors annually, accepted the award in the large companies category.
