In a moving gesture of compassion, today, June 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. sharp, the Wiener Linien will observe a minute of mourning to remember the victims of the tragic shooting spree in Graz. This morning, a total of 900 Wiener Linien vehicles will be affected - they will come to a standstill for a minute to allow all passengers and employees to pause for a shared moment of silence. Vienna lines reports that the stop displays will be provided with the message “We stand together for Graz” and announcements on the buses, pumice trains and subways will draw attention to the minute of mourning.
Managing director Alexandra Reinagl expressed her deep sympathy for those affected by the rampage and their relatives and invites everyone to stand together during this difficult time and remember the victims. The vehicles that are between two stops at 10:00 a.m. drive to the next stop to observe the minute of mourning and to ensure a moment of silence together.
