Laura Trauntschnig: New impulses for Scholz & Friends in Vienna!

The advertising world in Vienna will get a breath of fresh air: Laura Trauntschnig will take over the position of Head of People & Corporate Development at Scholz & Friends from April 1, 2025. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, the expert in change management, organizational development and corporate culture is ideally equipped for this challenge. How horizon reports, she will work closely with Chairman Markus Mazuran to address key issues such as establishing a strong corporate culture as well as talent development and effective organizational development.

But what exactly does this mean for Scholz & Friends and their future? Traunschnig places particular emphasis on building efficient structures and optimizing processes in order to create a corporate culture that promotes innovation, courage and open exchange. A major focus of her work will also be on the integration of artificial intelligence - she aims to integrate AI into the world of work as a supporting team member. This is an important project in times when new technologies are quickly becoming available.

Change management in the company

In order to successfully manage change, in addition to Traunschnig's vision, the right change management is also crucial. Clear communication of the goals and the involvement of employees are of great importance here. Changes in companies can cause discomfort and fear, which requires careful planning. Successful change management ensures that the workforce is not only informed, but also actively involved in shaping the change. Digital Center Berlin describes that this can be promoted, among other things, through training and open exchange.

An effective approach also relies on the “Predict & Control” versus “Sense & Respond” approach, such as Bergmacher explained. Different tools are required, depending on whether clear goals are to be set or the organization is to be further developed holistically. The challenge is to overcome resistance to change and motivate the team to actively participate.

When understanding her role as a change expert, Traunschnig can rely on the proven change curve, which describes seven phases of emotional reactions to change. This ranges from the initial shock to rejection to the complete integration of the new circumstances into everyday work. The aim is to take employees along on this journey and ultimately create a working environment that is not only efficient, but also promotes innovation and creativity.

The coming months promise to be exciting as Laura Trauntschnig puts her plans into action at Scholz & Friends and thus sets the course for a future-oriented corporate culture.
