Fiery sounds in the open air: Cobario inspires in Postbauer-Heng!
In the heart of Bavaria, more precisely in the Teutonic Order Castle Postbauer-Heng, there will be a very special evening on Saturday, July 5th. The “Musik Aktiv” association presents the trio Cobario from Vienna. With their program “Spanish Nights” they invite you to a musical journey with Mediterranean sounds. nn.de reports that the concert will start at 8 p.m. and, weather permitting, will take place in the picturesque castle garden. However, if the weather does not cooperate, the event will take place in the hall.
The Trio Cobario, consisting of Herwig “Herwigos” Schaffner on the violin, Peter Weiss and Georg Aichberger alias Giorgio Rovere on the guitars, delights the audience with their mix of fiery guitar chords and expressive violin sounds. Their program reflects musical beginnings in Barcelona and presents well-known pieces such as “La Gaviota”, “Tango della Morte” and “Hips of a Girl”. Known for melancholy, rhythm and virtuosity, Cobario has been active for over a decade.
The artists and their roots
The musicians' roots go back to 2006, when they began their career as street artists in Barcelona. Herwig Schaffner, who plays violin and piano, was admitted to the Salzburg Mozarteum at the age of 16 and has played in renowned orchestras. Georg Aichberger chose music as an autodidact and later studied guitar in Vienna. Peter Weiss has been playing guitar for 13 years and studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
The concert in Postbauer-Heng is not only a highlight for local music lovers, but also a further step in Cobario's tour, which has planned numerous performances in Germany and Austria over the summer. The trio will perform in Waidhofen (Thaya) on June 29th and in Fürstenzell on July 6th. Their live dates can be found on their website, which also offers an overview of their upcoming concerts.

The Trio Cobario has made a name not only in Austria but also internationally. Their unique concerts attract more and more audiences. As part of their tour, their music will certainly be highly appreciated at festivals such as the popular Glücksfühle Festival in Germany. Another sign that good music has its place everywhere, whether in the small castle garden or on large stages.
We look forward to an unforgettable evening full of music and emotions in the Teutonic Order Castle.
