Veganmania 2025: culinary delight and fun for everyone on the Danube Island!

The countdown is running! Only one week left until the popular Veganmania on Vienna's Danube Island. From September 12th to 14th, the expanded area at the “Neue Donau” U6 station will be transformed into a true paradise for lovers of plant-based cuisine and a sustainable lifestyle. There is great anticipation because the event promises a diverse selection of street food and numerous activities.

Veganmania is much more than just a culinary festival. Over 100 exhibitors will present their delicious plant-based creations. And the selection is impressive – from fine corn dogs and refreshing bubble tea to filled lángos and international specialties such as gyoza and poké. Of course, those with a sweet tooth are not left out either - sweet treats are waiting to be discovered. Felix Hnat, chairman of the Austrian Vegan Society, emphasizes that interest in plant-based products is constantly increasing, which is also reflected in the spacious location. But the event has much more to offer. In addition to the culinary highlights, visitors can expect a varied supporting program. Yoga lessons for all levels, fascinating live music from indie to jazz and interactive workshops that even give children an insight into horse language ensure the best entertainment. Animal-friendly magic shows are also on the program, which provide fun information about the needs of animals. A special highlight are the various workshops in which participants can learn skills such as aerial silk or dance.
