On September 13th, Vienna's Town Hall Square will become the stage for a spectacular event: the first World Tram Championship (Tram World Championship) is just around the corner! The World Tram Championship consists of various disciplines that test the precision and skill of the tram drivers. A real treat will be tram curling, in which the drivers have to demonstrate their skills in difficult driving situations. The evaluation is based on points in the individual disciplines and the total time per round.
The Austrian participants, Florijan Isaku and Elisabeth Urbanitsch from Wiener Linien, will do everything in their power to get their hometown onto the winner's podium. They are supported in this competition by the modern Flexity and ULF trams - so the technical progress in this wet and cold competition is also clear.

In addition to the exciting competitions, a varied supporting program and traditional public transport offers are offered. There are interactive stations, bouncy castles, a ball pit and even an interactive event with driving simulators for spectators young and old.
