New park Auf der Schmelz”: Green oasis for Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus!

On July 17, 2025, a new park was opened in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, which enriches the neighborhood under the name “Auf der Schmelz”. A relaxing retreat has been created on an area of 2,320 square meters, leaving the traces of a former roller sports facility behind. The park offers residents numerous opportunities for active recreation and encounters in nature and was designed with a clear goal: promoting biodiversity and climate-resilient urban development. Particularly noteworthy is the drinking fountain with watercourse - here everyone can refresh themselves after an act with what's on offer. The press mentions that the citizens' suggestions regarding shade, green space and sports opportunities were taken into account during the planning.

A project for the future
