Over 600 young fire brigade members, the so-called young florianis, competed against each other in St. Peter-Freienstein today at the performance competition and competition game. While the young florianis demonstrated their skills, 13 members of the St. Peter-Freienstein volunteer fire brigade successfully completed the fire service test. This took place on Saturday and had the goal of fighting different types of fire- including barn, wooden stacks and fluid fires- within a specified time. In turn, the participants had to demonstrate their knowledge in the fire service by answering a question and showing the equipment in the emergency vehicle when the doors and roller blinds were closed. As reported meinzirk.at, it was the "strictest" valuable team in Styria, led by main reviewer Johann Stürzer. Helmut Ofner, Klaus Reinwald and newcomer Armin Saiger were also among the valuations.

The examiners placed great importance on efficient and flawless implementation.
