Discover the future: Free technology workshops for families in Vienna!
The technology will be turned upside down in Vienna in November 2025! The TU Transformer invites all technology enthusiasts to an exciting series of events taking place from November 7th to 28th. The program offers a variety of activities that not only encourage children and parents to marvel, but also to participate. The focus is on having fun with experiments, building activities and games. Admission? For free! But be careful – registration is necessary.
Under the title “LEGO Future City – Open Lab”, families have the opportunity to build a city out of LEGO together. The creative minds will meet on November 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th and can let their imagination run wild. But that’s not all: “Game on! – experiencing computer science through games” is also offered at the same time. Board and card games are used here and are supervised by computer science students. The aim is to develop problem-solving skills in a playful way.
Puzzles and music
Another highlight promises to be the “Escape Game – Nuclear Energy”, in which participants can solve puzzles relating to the topic of nuclear power with the service robot Wolly. This challenge will also take place on November 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. On November 28th it will be musical again: the “Music Empathy Laboratory” is organizing a mini-concert, a master class and various workshops in collaboration with the MUK. Listeners young and old can look forward to a lot of musical enjoyment here.
For older children aged ten and over there will be the workshop “3D printing with a difference!” on November 17th. Participants can learn how to create creative works of art using wood chips or even coffee grounds. Anyone who wants to demonstrate their craftsmanship here should not miss the opportunity.
