The traditional Neuwaldegger Bad will no longer be opening this season, much to the surprise of many. Gabi Dolezel, the long-time operator, is now looking for a successor so that the popular bathing business can perhaps continue. MyDistrict reported that the closure was due to the operator's personal reasons, which may have disappointed many bathing enthusiasts.
After an impressive 100 seasons and countless enjoyable moments on the water, the question of the future of the Neuwaldegg pool remains open. Estate manager Marcus Korn from St. Peter's Abbey is surprised by the search for a successor and hopes that the area can continue to be used as a bathing establishment.
