Traiskirchen celebrates: 4-1 win in the top game against Oberwart!

In the exciting duel of the 15th round of the Regionalliga East, FCM Traiskirchen won against SC Oberwart with a clear 4-1 on November 7th, 2025. This game was not only a highlight of the match day, but also catapulted the Traiskirchen team to second place in the table, while the guests from Oberwart were only able to shine briefly in the game.

The early lead for Traiskirchen fell in the 5th minute thanks to the eye-catching Michael Schobesberger, who scored a total of two goals and thus increased his goals this season to six. Other goalscorers for the hosts were Felber in the 42nd minute and Fischerauer, who netted in the 67th minute. The only bright spot for Oberwart was the goal in the 75th minute, which made the heavy defeat look a little better.

Leading the table remains out of reach

Despite the impressive victory, Traiskirchen remains seven points behind league leaders Leobendorf, who also held on with a 2-1 win over FavAC at the weekend. The Leobendorfers once again showed their strong form by celebrating their eleventh win in just 14 games. The goals were scored by Gökcek and Hahn, while Barataud scored the goal for FavAC.

This win has put Traiskirchen in a good starting position for the rest of the season, although they still need to catch up on a few points. The regional league remains exciting as many teams continue to fight for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.
