Billie Eilish delights 16,000 fans at a magical Vienna concert!

On June 7, 2025, the Wiener Stadthalle was once again the venue for a spectacular concert, when Billie Eilish captivated almost 16,000 visitors with her show “Hit Me Hard And Soft”. The atmosphere was electric, and from the first note of the song “Chihiro” from her latest album, it was clear that Eilish wanted to provide a unique and intimate concert experience.

The stage was a true work of art: a cube of LED walls pulsates in sync with the music, creating an impressive visual backdrop. Eilish herself began the show sitting in the square and later demonstrated her singing talent to the sounds of her music by finally climbing onto the roof of the square. The stage was designed to allow plenty of room for movement, with two rectangular cutouts for her band members, allowing Eilish to be up close and personal with fans.

An unforgettable concert

Particularly impressive was the quiet moment when Eilish asked the crowd for silence so she could record voices with a loop station. This led to a soulful performance of “When The Party’s Over,” which had fans loudly singing along to the chorus. In addition to “Chihiro” and “When The Party’s Over,” the hits “Bad Guy,” “TV” and “The Greatest” were also highlights of the show, which was supported with visual fireworks, laser lights and fire fountains without pushing the music into the background.

Throughout the concert, Eilish was accompanied by two talented singers and a four-piece band, although her brother Finneas was not there this time as he is concentrating on his solo career. Despite his absence, the show's powerful and layered sound was never neglected.

A sustainable event

The “Hit Me Hard And Soft” tour is not only musically impressive, but also focuses on sustainability. In partnership with REVERB, emphasis is placed on reducing greenhouse gases and single-use plastic, showing that Billie Eilish cares deeply about environmental protection. Visitors to the Wiener Stadthalle were also able to enjoy vegan drinks and snacks, which further underlines the environmentally friendly concept of the event.

Fans who couldn't get tickets for the sold-out concert still gave their best in front of the hall by singing Eilish songs. This passionate support highlights the deep connection the artist has with her audience. Even though the concert was expected to end at 9:55 p.m., the fans' enthusiasm continued for a long time.

The tour will then head to the USA, Australia and finally Europe, UK and Ireland, where she is expected to perform until the end of July 2025. Billie Eilish has opened a new chapter in her career with “Hit Me Hard And Soft” and enchanted the Wiener Stadthalle with her art and charisma. The next album will be released on May 17, 2024, and the anticipation for it is already palpable.
